The Unofficial Will Poulter Fansite

New-ish SOC Interview

A BBC Switch interview with SOC that aired November 1st has been posted in two parts. It is from the SchoolOfComedyFans YouTube page. This interview does not include Will, but he is mentioned several times, and I think you'll enjoy it.

E4 Videos

The rest of the E4 videos have been posted, along with a YouTube video concerning the Dawn Treader Halloween party (Will Poulter as Mario) and an old SOC clip posted on their YouTube page about a year ago. Also, the School of Comedy and Son of Rambow photo albums have been updated. All SOC episodes are still available to watch on 4OD, while the DVD can be pre-ordered here and here.

Updates!

My apologies for not updating sooner, I've been slacking quite a bit on the site.

On The Box has done an interview with Will, it can be seen here and also in the Interviews section (which is, unfortunately, still rather out of order).  For anyone who doesn't already know it reveals that the School of Comedy DVD is to be released in the UK next month.  The series is now over but still available to watch on 4oD.  There's also apparently a behind the scenes episode 11 November at 11.30 P.M.  I'm having trouble adding videos, but once it's working properly again I'll have the ones from the E4 site up.  Sorry for all the delays!

New SOC Clips

On the E4 site here.    I'm rather busy at the moment but I will put them on the site as soon as possible.

SOC

In case anyone missed the first episode it can be viewed here.  The School of Comedy YouTube has uploaded numerous videos, most of which have also been put up on this site.  There is an exclusive interview on the YouTube; I've not put it up here as Will's not in it.  However, it's still nice so give it a look.  Another interview clip (again without Will) is here.

School of Comedy airs 1st October!

E4 has put up a SOC page with tons of photos and video, although anyone keeping an eye on the guestbook would already know this.  Sorry about the delay in updating; Webs hasn't been very friendly lately.  The photo and video sections have been updated regarding Dawn Treader.  The last day of filming at Cleveland Point is today.

Thanks again for all the links, Marla.  Be sure to tune in to channel 4 1st October at 10 PM!

New Dawn Treader Video

Footage of Will doing  a short scene for Dawn Treader has appeared on Youtube.  I've also posted it in the video section.  There are many new photographs of the scene in the photo section as well.  Thanks for the link, Marla!

More Dawn Treader Photos/Video

Thanks to marlasinger816 (she's turning out to be my top contributor; I do appreciate it) for posting this video in the guestbook!  It features Will briefly, swinging an oar...  The Dawn Treader photo album has been updated so be sure to have a look at that.

Will's brother reports (via Narniaweb) that Will's younger sister is in Australia with him during filming.  'They're all getting on really well (Skander and Will especially).  They're both big Arsenal fans which is one similarity (that's a football team in London for those of you from elsewhere).  Will's really enjoying it now, but is exhausted.'

On set photos, video

Marlasinger816 posted links to photos taken on the set of Dawn Treader featuring Will in costume!  Two of them can be seen in the photo gallery, more are here.  Queensland Premier Anna Bligh toured the set which is the reason for the media attention... there is a video that has Will (with Anna Bligh and co-star Georgie Henley) very briefly.  A nice article is here.

Fanmail Forwarding

I've just received word from Will's brother that fanmail's forwarded to his dad's house; his dad's just flown to Australia and likely brought the mail with him.  If not, Will's brother will bring it when he goes at the end of the month.

Narniaweb Cast & Crew Letter

narniaweb.com is sending a letter to the cast and crew of The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (including Will).  If you'd like to sign, the link is here.   The letter will be sent to Australia next month.  Thanks to fantasia_kitty from Narniaweb for letting me know about this...

Filming began today!

School of Comedy DVD

There is a SOC DVD listed on play.com and  Amazon.  No one is sure as to the contents, yet...  SOC have also added new photos from Edinburgh 2007 to their Facebook page here.

In Narnia news, filming for The Voyage of the Dawn Treader allegedly begins 15 July.

Will featured on '20 Stars Who Weren't Even Born When Empire Started' List

Will made number 20 on Empire's list, see it here.

Thanks to karine for posting this in the guest book!

Son of Rambow Wins Best Comedy Award

Son of Rambow won best comedy at The Jameson Empire Awards (29 March).  Lots of photos from the ceremony have been added, and more can be found here and here.

It seems that the SOC series shan't be airing as soon as we'd hoped - according to the School of Comedy Facebook page (a link to which can be found in the Films/Stage section), the actors finished filming near the beginning of March and 'are now twiddling their thumbs for a few months.'

SOC episodes appearing soon on E4

The six new School of Comedy episodes are allegedly airing soon on channel 4.  Dates will be posted as soon as I find any...

Will Poulter & Bill Milner Nominated for Young Artist Award

Third Narnia to happen after all

According to these articles Fox has signed to produce The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. They've relocated shooting to Australia, hoping to start at the end of the summer.

The London Critics' Circle Film Awards ceremony was yesterday - unfortunately Will didn't win the award, but here are two photos from the  event (1, 2).

Will Nominated for NSPCC Award

A new award has been introduced to the 29th London Critics' Circle Film Awards (held in aid of NSPCC).  Will Poulter is a nominee for this new award, Young British Performer of the Year.  The ceremony will take place 04 February 2009.  Article here...

And many thanks to marlasinger816 (via the guest book) for directing me to this photo of Will (with Bill Milner and Nick Goldsmith) at the BIFA ceremony.

Further Narnia News

The Voyage of the Dawn Treader filming and release are probably being pushed back still further.  An article (there are many) can be found here.

Only one photo of Will at the BIFA ceremony has surfaced so far, here.

Narnia News

Filming for the Narnia movie has been pushed back to March 2009; Will and family will be living in Mexico for six months while recording goes on.

The School of Comedy YouTube  has also added new videos.

Will Nominated for BIFA

Will's a nominee for Most Promising Newcomer ; the awards ceremony is to be held on 30th November at Old Billingsgate Market.

A good source for news about Will is also this thread  on the NarniaWeb site.

Lastly, a trivial bit of news: filming for The Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader has been slightly delayed.
